Welcome to the official website of the
Emergency Services Youth Academy

We are the premier summer program for middle school age students in Bergen County.

Each year we accept 52 highly motivated applicants who seek to challenge themselves. The application process begins in May, and our academy will be held in mid-July.  Look for more information in the coming months about the 2016 Emergency Services Youth Academy.

Our Mission Statement

The mission of the Emergency Services Youth Academy is to expose the children of our community to the importance of public service.  Through interactive activities, our cadets experience the rigors of life in the emergency services. Using the military training model, we hold our cadets to the highest standards of conduct, appearance and behavior. Our goal is to instill confidence, competence, integrity and self esteem in building the future leaders of the Borough of Bogota.
